8 THINGS AN UPCOMING MODEL SHOULD KNOW...
1: Never be too quick to assume you know it all or that you can do it all.
2. Be humble and listen always.
3. Being beautiful does not make you a model, likewise being ugly does not disqualify you. Also being a model does not mean that you are exceptionally beautiful (not all aspect of modeling requires beauty, height and size).
4. Before going into modeling, discover your passion in modeling (most people don't even know what modeling is all about, some think is all about runway and catwalk).
5. No matter what the future holds for you as an upcoming model, a moment of wrong decision can shatter that great talent of yours, life is All about stages ( that you can make up well, wear heels and catwalk doesn't make you am model yet, it is only a good step to build your modeling career).
6. Never assume that you are there...... With the help of the right people or person around you.. You could go a step higher in your career.
7. As a upcoming model... Look for a manager that is not just all about money, but friendly and willing to relate with you in all circumstances ( I always tell people that the relationship between a manager and a model is NOT "a-boss-to-employee thing, but like a partnership.. If a model fails.. The manager fails.. If there is success. It's a collective effort.
8. As an upcoming model, do not be too particular about the money.. Make the name first and the money will follow (a gold fish has no hiding place) .
